Delete your Kaptal account

You can delete your Kaptal account and all of its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent: the account cannot be recovered afterwards.

What is deleted

• The account: email, name and password or Google link.
• All wallets, projects, transactions, categories, distributions and simulations.
• The change history of that data.
• The sessions on every device.

What remains, and for how long

• Copies in the database backups, for up to 365 days. They are not used, and if a backup is ever restored the deletion is applied again.
• Technical server logs, which do not contain your email, for up to 183 days.
• An internal account identifier (no email or name) for 400 days, only to apply the deletion again after a restore.

Have the app installed?

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. The account is deleted right away, without an email.

Enter the account's email. We will send you a link, and the account is only deleted after you open it and confirm.
