Terms and conditions

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms govern the use of the Kaptal app and the kaptal.org website. By creating an account or using Kaptal, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who provides the service

Kaptal is provided by Vladyslav Safronov, an individual resident in Portugal ("we"). Contact: support@kaptal.org.

2. What Kaptal is

Kaptal is a record-keeping and tracking tool for capital and investments: it lets you record sources of capital (wallets), investments (projects) and the transactions between them, and calculate distributions of capital and profit.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your data

The data you record is yours. We use it only to provide the service, as explained in the privacy policy.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep Kaptal available and the data protected, with regular backups, but the service is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will run continuously or without errors. We recommend that you keep a copy, by other means, of any records that are critical to you.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from decisions made on the basis of the app's calculations, from incorrectly recorded data, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Price

Kaptal is free at this stage. If paid plans are introduced, their conditions will be published here before they apply, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can stop using Kaptal and delete your account whenever you want.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with the updated date. If the changes are significant, we let you know in the app or by email before they apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights granted to you by the law of the country where you live.
